Can you ID these? And can you tell sex from behavior?

We got the special assorted straight run this summer. I have identified most but a few still stump me. Photos posted below. Also, can you tell roos from behavior alone? Several birds like to puff their feathers and do the stare down at each other. Does this mean they are roos or do hens do this type of behavior as well?

Buff Bramha?

Bramha? She has feathered shanks that I don't think you can see in the photo.

No idea on this one. Non-feathered shanks.

Again, no idea. He has greenish shanks.

Hamburg?

The one in the last pic looks just like my Golden Campine but yours is Silver. The 4th and 5th pics look sort of like EE's. My white EE was a roo and the one in the 5th pic looks like it may also be a roo. The comb on the 4th pic looks like the combs on my EE hens.

Here is my campine hen:

The last one is definitely a roo. The second-to-last might be, but need a side-view of the head. The rest are girls. Did you mention how old they are?

Once they get past a certain age, you can definitely tell boys from girls based on behavior, but usually by then you could tell from physical looks for a while.

Looks like one and two are roos.

3 and 4 looks like pullets.

5 and 6 are roos.

No 1 does not look like a white Jersey, the comb is not single combed as far as I can see. It looks more like rose comb. Maybe white Wyndotte or crossbred.

No 2, a very poor marked buff Brahma

No 3, could be a Cochin but not sure

No 4, no idea but has a rose comb

No 5, definately an EE roo

No 6, Silver Campine roo

Did you buy them from the hatchery?

I guess I should have said - they were all hatched on June 1st - so they are about 9-10 weeks old. Sorry to sound stupid, but what is an EE? The reason I thought #1 was a giant is because it is soo much larger than all the rest. We got them from M.McMurray.

I don't think #1 is a white wyandotte or plymouth rock because of the green legs. Any other ideas? I think silve campine for the last guy hit the nail right on the head. Too bad he's a roo. I think he crowed this morning for the first time.

An EE is an Easter Egger, sometimes called Americauna by the hatcheries. Hatcheries rarely (if ever from what I've heard) sell purebred Americaunas. EE are actually crossbreeds, either with Americauncas or Aurcanas.

Your green legged chicken could be an EE too, as all three of my EE have green legs.

Hey!!!! I got my batch of chicks from McMurry's on June 1st, too!!

I have 3 White Orpington's and they are way bigger than any of the other chicks, including the 2 Buff Orp's that I got in the same batch. Does the chick in the first picture have a single comb?
