Can you identify this on our chicken's head please?

We found this on one of our chickens. Does anybody know what it is and what to do? She's acting normal...like a chicken. Shakes her head quite a bit, but I think they all do. We're first-timers. Thank you.

I'm laughing out loud! I told you we were new! Ha ha ha!!! But she only has one. The other side isn't red and swollen like this. Is that okay?

Not really. She has a bald spot like this, but not a red swollen thing. I never thought about ears! Thank you!

she’s a growing girl. Getting a comb, wattles and earlobes is kind of like human girls developing breasts, gradually and sometimes one at a time.
