Can you identify this Rooster?

We've been told several things.. What is your opinion? What kind of rooster is this?

That is an Easter Egger rooster. They are sold as Ameraucanas at feed stores even though they are not.

I thought the real name for the Easter egger was amerucanas because they lay blue eggs

We've been told both. The breeder that we got him from said he was a blue splash wheaten ameraucana but we've been hearing easter egger alot since then. We love him regardless and can breed easter eggers it's just frustrating to think you know what you have and to find out you might not.

Does he have dark legs with white or pink on the bottom?

I'm surprised no one has said Favaucana, maybe he's not one but just a guess. I have a Blue Salmon Favaucana roo, he looks just like this bird except this bird has more splotchy feathers that my boy. So also I would agree with rooster. And often Easter Eggers are sold as Ameraucanas, Americanas, or Araucanas in feed stores or hatcheries. Easter Eggers are basically mutts but I love them more than my true Ameraucanas.
