Can you keep a turkey with chickens?

Here's my Bourbon Red Tom "King Henry the XIII" with our rooster "Ivan the Terrible" and one of the hens. I have the tom and 2 BR hens with my 16 chickens.
I will be separating as soon as I can, but only so they all can have more space and I can start separating breeds.

Yup! I have a BBW that has been living with the chickens for over 2 years now. She was SUPPOSED to be a Thanksgiving turkey too-but that didn't happen... Here's a pic of my oldest a couple of weeks ago enjoying some quality time with the birds........even the cat loves to be in the chicken yard

Normally yes, many of us do.

If your area suffers of blackhead, you will not be able to, if you lose a turkey from it, don't bother trying again.

I don't keep chickens, I use Khaki Campbell ducks for eggs... some people think that ducks don't carry the parasite.

Shad

Yup! Especially if you get your chicks and poults vaccinated for Marek's. They can pass it between each other.
I keep my BBB Turkey Poults and chicks together and raise up that way...
