Can you Mark Chicks to tell the difference?

We have 7 black sex links and only want to keep three or four of the most friendly birds. What can I use to mark them with so I can tell the difference?

We use the tiny little leg bands on the new chicks..have to keep track of them and change them to bigger sizes as they grow more but it's the easiest way to mark them...very hard to mark a black chick on my white ones if I need to secondary mark a blue dot on the tummy works great but it won't last very long..NEVER use anything red.
But,if you are planning to keep only the friendly ones they will be the friendly ones and you can tell them that way..if they are all equally friendly then consider keeping your larger ones
