Can you mix standard breeds & small breeds?

I really think I would like some silkies, sizzles, frizzles and some of the other darling little things. Would they be ok with my big chickens or do the small breeds need to be kept seperately??

I have mixed pens without problems. But my large fowl where raised with bantams.

I too mix and match my free range flock. From the little dutch to a giant cochin hen. I even turn out the juvenile birds with the big flock. They all sleep together and get along fine. 1 word of caution would be to not run a super large roo with the mix as some have had issues with big roos hurting the bantams.

I have large chickens along with bantams and silkies, no problems with them together.

Yup, I have a mixed flock with out any issues.
