Has anyone ever hatched/incubated turkey and chicken eggs together? I have a hovubator and have been getting good hatches, I would like to do a few turkey eggs, but do not want to incubate just 4-6 eggs at a time when it holds so many more!!!

If I used egg cartons to hatch the chicks so they didn't bother the turkey eggs so much do you think the increase of the humidity for those few days would destroy the turks?

I hatched turkey and chicken eggs together with no problem, but I started the turkey eggs first, so everybody hatched around the same time.

You can incubate them together easily. You do not want to hatch the chicks in the same incubator while the turks are still incubating. You can do this in the cabinet, but would be messy in a styrobator.

To get around that problem, just start the Turks 7 days earlier then the chicken eggs. That way the should be due on the same hatch date.
