Can You Pick Up Chicks From McMurray Hatchery?

Well I live pretty close to that McMurray Hatchery and I have heard alot of good things about them. I don't want them to ship b/c its really stressful for the Chicks... So yeah. do you know the answer?

can anyone tell me why chicks are debeaked? how well do they eat afterwards?

Debeaking is normally only necessary in commercial egglaying facilities. It keeps the chickens from pecking each other. They can eat, but no need to go there for a home-flock.
