I devised a similar type feeder for my chicks in their brooder using Pringle's cans, nearly like TNChick721 has shown. Cut out holes in the top and use some material to add "legs" to the bottom so the can doesn't roll over and spill. They don't last very long but are cheap and easy to make, so who cares?! They work well for me.

This is a modified chick feeder. Cut the top off the bottle and added 4' of downspout. It fits tight to the wall.

I made a feeder out of two cement blocks and a split pvc pipe...will try to find the picture of it...

I think so too. Gives me a starting point to make something for my 2 messy ducks. (Was gonna cut a hole in the side of a bucket, but this would be easier and the bucket would still hold water!LOL)​
