Can you raise chicks in November?

I was thinking about getting about 75 chicks this fall so they will be ready to lay by the time summer gets here. Can a baby chick stand the cold temperatures in November?

They will need a heat source to keep warm until they are fully feathered in. Week old chicks need to be kept at 95*F, you can gradually decrease the temperature by 5* each week. By 8 to 10 weeks old, they should be fine without a heat source. If it's really cold, below 30*F, then they may need supplemental heat overnight.
