Hi All,

We might be getting a new house (fingers crossed

) and we'll have a lot more space!!! I would like to expand my chicken flock but I would also LOVE to get a few other birds that I've been wanting forever, two of those being peafowl and golden pheasant.

Is it possible to raise these two birds together do their size difference/temperments/etc make that unfeasible? If they can live together I would assume it would be best to hatch them/raise them together from babies?

Yes, you can raise all your Golden Sub-spices with Peafowl including Lady Amherst, you can add adult pheasant pairs or trios to adult Peafowl pens as long as the pens are big enough. The pens we have our Peafowl and pheasant's together in are 10'x45' plenty of room to say clear of each other. if pen is smaller find old Christmas trees to lay in the pen so the pheasants can hide if need be or plastic 55 gallon barrels cut in half with a hole so they can get in it.
