Can you really eat a chickens head?

Yesterday my cousin slaughterd two aseel roosters. I had seen worms when he was cleaning them after they were killed. Anyways he saved the heads to eat? Is that normal to eat? They made a soup. I didnt want to eat them today because I knew them when there were alive.

they are considered a delicacy in many places

my uncle used to cook them after boiling them, it helped get the feathers off

and so are shanks/feet. (i have tried shanks/feet before) again boil them to get the scales off
 
Yes, in some cultures the head is considered a delicacy. I do not have a strong enough stomach for that one.

I don't have the stomach for it either. My cousins are from mexico and they say they do it all the time. But was disgusted me was the worms

yeah i found the mention of worms a bit worrying

your cousins need to start the deworming treatment on rest of flock
