Every chicken breed today is a cross breed . that was worked until it bred true. One of the best chickens we have ever owned was an amerucauna silkie cross, bless her heart she would jump into your lap and lay down like a lap dog and she laid light blue eggs. cute as a button solid white and had the muffs and comb was small you could barley see it..She was given to us as the owner wanted a good home for her, had to move.
