can you ship chickens?

Yes you can!

However you are in FL, so it would be prudent to wait until in the fall or when temps get to the 80's to have a safe travel. Paperwork from the vet would be a good idea for health papers or if you are NPIP certified, depending on what state you are heading for.

Good luck!

oh yay! Thank you!

True!

Is there a way you can travel WITH them? Unless you are flying or going by bus. I say chickens are good travelers!

I wouldn't trust animals that I am emotionally attached to to the US postal service or a shipping company. Too many horror stories. Bad enough when they kill something you ordered from a hatchery or breeder, but if its your beloved pet ....

See if you can't take them with you when you move. You could probably take them in a pet carrier with an absorbent bedding, make sure they have water, and limit food to just a light feeding when on the road to avoid having to clean the carrier too often.
