Can you show me pics of your duck house???

I am picking up some ducks on Tuesday and I need to know how to take care of them. Any advice on houseing and care would be appreciated. Thanks! JEN

Here are a few photos of my duck's raised pen. I just got them in it this week. They had previously been living in the chicken house. I still need to paint and shingle the actual house section.

Mine have a covered secure night pen with a big dog igloo in it. I got the dog igloo at a garage sale for only $25. During the day they have a big aviary to play in. They used to free range in the back yard, but a hawk found them so no more of that.

We just moved my ducks & the 4 geese into our GIANT chicken house that was uilt last year. the chickens got sick and it's been sitting empty for over a year because i was too scared to put them back in it!

...the ducks love it though!

Jenlynn4 some kind of ducks fly and others don't. What kind do you have?

they are a pair of calls and a pair of rouen ducks.

Call Ducks do fly, so if you are going to free range them, you might want to clip their wing feathers. Rouens dont fly, as they are too heavy.
