Can you spend to much time with your chickens?

I always tell people I spend an unnatural amount of time with my chickens . I think you can spend as much time with them as you want. You’re their mama and they love their mama (and yes, chickens are very capable of loving their people. Some of mine just want to sit in my lap and cuddle most of the day, even if I don’t have snacks for them). Chickens are social creatures and they see you as a fellow flock mate.

They love you. They’ll always be chickens, you hanging out with them means you are part of their group. I don’t see any harm in it!
