Can you start chicks on a nipple waterer?

Has anyone here had success starting out chicks on a nipple type waterer? Thanks for any advice!

THe feed store by my house uses a rabbit waterer for their day old chicks.

I put one in on, I think, their second day.. They took to it quick. I wasnt' sure one "got it" so I kept a bowl in there for an extra day. When the others did it. she got it too. They are awesome drip free waterers!

The guy that I bought my week-old chicks from, last year, used one of them for his chicks and his grown chickens. They like to peck at shiny things so it doesn't take them long to figure it out.
