Can you start lockdown 18 days plus 6 hours?

Started incubating eggs on 19th of March at 2:30pm. Can I begin lockdown April 6th at 8:00pm or should it be 18 days to the hour. I know get the humidity to 60%

In my experience using a hen (never used an incubator), she does not count the hours, so I would think it would be completely okay

Thanks this was my thought as well. We have a broody hen going at the same time so it will be interesting to see who is more successful

Is this your first time hatching/using a broody? I absolutely love hatching under a broody, watching her take care of the chicks is the best!

First time with incubator second time with a broody hen. This hen has tried once before but only had 2 eggs hatch successfully. She seems more on top of things now hoping to see chicks any day

Nice! I forget how many broody hatches I’ve done, but it’s a lot! It never gets old though you’ll have to share pictures when they’re hatched!
