I live in Naperville, IL and I'm just wondering if anywhere is still hatching duck eggs or if this is even possible. I've emailed a few companies but am awaiting responses. Can any one give me their 2 cents on this? I've asked tractor supply co but it is almost mid October already so I'm not sure..... Any suggestions? I'm just looking for 1 new born mallard, thanks!

Have you looked on craigslist? also buy sell on BYC?

Yes I checked craigslist and there was nothing so I put up an add looking to buy. And I'm also not sure what you mean by buy sell on byc.

Mallards are seasonal layers so you may not be able to find eggs this time of the year. If you are only looking for one your best bet is to just put out a ad on craigslist and the BST section looking for one duckling.

I put one up yesterday but I couldn't find a "BST" section
