Can you teach chickens NOT to do things?

It COULD work. I tried a spray bottle with Billy Boy, my jerky little Cochin Bantam rooster who thinks he needs to attack me every chance he gets (he gets fewer chances these days because he spends a lot of time in chicken jail).

It worked at first, then he apparently decided to enjoy the shower, just to spite me. Your birds sound much nicer.

In case anyone was curious, Pepper has effectively not been jumping in the flower pot ever since our little stand off. She has, however, jumped up on the fence independently of the flower pot 🤦‍♀️I’ve taken her down twice now, with the last time being this morning. So far she hasn’t jumped back up. The new run couldn’t come fast enough!
