can you tell if Easter Eggers will be rumpless as they feather out?

Hi all!

We have 6 chicks, 4 are EE's... they are about 15 days old now. Two have tail feathers, and two do not. Of the two without, one has just a few teeny pin feathers there. One has a beard of down at the moment. Is there any way to know if they will be rumpless based on how they feather out? I can post pics if that is helpful... Thanks!

They might be roo's if they don't feather out as fast as the others.

Man do I love doing that!!!!

They can't be roos! That would be a 50% FAIL on my chick picks of sexed females! Just my luck...

Should I post pics now or wait until later when they are older?

OK, OK... I am going to start a new thread in the breed / gender section, since I am wondering if some of them might be roos anyway...

Should be up in a minute!

I've seen a couple rumpless EEs, but usually your chances are that you have some cockerels. . . My current EE cockerel didn't grow tail feathers until months later, he really did convince me!
