I am not sure if my ducks are male or female or both. I was thinking the darker one is male and the lighter one is female but I'm not sure. The darker one has a shiny green head, but the light one is starting to get that to as her feathers come in more.

They are about 11 weeks old now, I think...

I think I've heard a definite quack from the lighter one, but not from the darker one.

What age do the male ducks get the little curl in their tail?

The tails curl should be showing up any time now if you have a boy. Are they molting now? Mine went through a molt right before he got his "big boy" feathers.

Here he was right around the time he molted.

And this was him a few weeks later.

great pics WIFEZILLA! i would give it a little more time but the lighter 1 looks like a drake to me. also you think u heard a quack once and the rest of the time it is a raspy noice? or they are just quiet and you think you only heard it quack?
my whelsh harliquins drakes started getting green feathers on there heads around this age.
i have no clue about the black 1 unless it has a raspy quack

Just go pick them up- they'll generally raise a royal ruckus in protest, and you'll know for sure one way or the other. There's no way to mistake the hen's distinctive (and LOUD) quack, vs the drake's raspy "yeeb yeeb yeeb".

The darker one for sure has a raspy voice. The other one I'm not sure. Are there any sound clicks of the rasp and quack online?

oh no! I think they might both be boys

The quacks I heard sound alot more like the male noise then the female.

It's a little extra, but since I specifically needed girls, I paid the fee to get exactly what I needed.

I wish I could but I have very limited space. I live in the city and I also have a bunch of chickens. Maybe they are just really quiet girl....
