Six months is an awkward age to sex by picture as many breeds start to mature at this time and pictures can be misleading.

The brown silkie is a pullet.

The white?????If the comb and wattles have developed in the last month-pullet. If the comb and wattles have been pronounced for a couple months or more-cockerel.

The white is not a silkie; possibly a cochin bantam-can't be sure without seeing the tail/rump area and legs/feet. Silkies all have the topknot/crest with a different comb style.

At 6 months old the Frizzle is a pullet and the Silkie is a pullet. The Silkie also appears to have scissor beak.

The many breeds gets confusing to differentiate;

even more so when the bird is a cross breed. Anyone want to guess the breed/breeds and sex?
