    Hey everyone!

We were given these chickens as small chicks, from a "petting zoo" at our local library. Does anyone know what breed these are? Also, if you can tell the gender of any of them by the pictures, that would be helpful too. They are about 9 weeks old in these photos.

    Thank you so much! 2.jpeg 4.jpeg 5.jpeg unnamed.jpeg

They have red earlobes and heavier body type, so not White Leghorn.

They may be White Rock. It is possible, since they are only 9 weeks old, if they are looking pretty big and heavy, they are then likely to be commercial meat birds.

Two of them look to be roosters. The ones with the big, bright red combs.

They look like meat birds to me. If they are waddling around then that's what they are.

Thank you, everyone! We plan to harvest them this weekend. We thought they were meat birds, but you verified it for us. Thank you!
