Can you tell me what she is?

Sorry but I can.t see his/her comb clearly. Is it a single comb or a pea comb?

With a single comb she really looks like a production type R I Red. Why are you so sure she's not a Red?
If she was standing, not being held it would be easier to evaluate her type but she really doesn't look like a Leghorn to me.

The only reason for me thinking she is a not RIR is that she looked like a chipmunk as a chick. RIR are a solid color, or am I wrong? Also she is fuller than my brown leghorns, they are taller and thinner, Maybelline (chick in question) is short and thick built.

Oh well, I will post more pics in a few weeks to see if anything changes.

The pictures are gone... but I've had a red leghorn from McMurray. She looked a lot like my RIR's from McMurray, except she had one darker red stripe from the top of her head down to her tail. Is that what yours looks like?

Here's my red leghorn chick at 15 days old. She's the red one toward the bottom right corner.

And again at 8 weeks old, she is bottom right drinking the water:

yea!!!

Sorry but Leghorns have white earlobes. There's also type to consider & she's not built like a Leghorn. From the last pictures you posted I'd have to say that's definately a Rhode Island Red.
Some Red chicks will show the 2 dark lines down their back, hence your "chipmunk" description.

Well thank you ALL for the help with her. I now know she is a RIR. I am happy to have her. She is the only one of her kind that we have and is definatly my kids favorite one. Now I just have to wait for the eggs to start coming.
