Can you tell me what this is...breed/sex/age? We found it crossing the street.

It seems to be staying small but eats well...we have had it for a few weeks now and I am new to chickens and would like to know what I am working with here. Thanks for all advice/answers.

You my dear have a japanese bantam black tail white hen! Sweet little girls once tame she'll make a awesome pet, sadly not a very awesome layer haha.

I am able to hold her and she seems to be nice....just scared a little still.

Yeup, japanese bantams are one of the smaller breeds of chickens so she probably won't get any biggger. Because of that if you have only big hens make sure they play nice with her when you put them together, sadly being small doesn't always help.
