This is probably a strange question, but i bought my eggs from a guy at the farmers market in Macedonia. My Macedonian is not perfect so i have to guess a lot of what people are saying. I was asking what breed they were but he said 'that, i don't know'. I thought how can you not know what breed your chicken are? Maybe there are several breeds mixed in together. Anyway, I asked if they were for eggs, he said yes, then i was trying to think of names of breeds and asked if they were Brahma's (the only name i could remember off the top of my head) and he said no, then i asked if they were brown chickens and he said 'certainly'. The eggs are small and very light in color, although some of them are darker and more creamy beige. So, can any of you chicken experts tell what they might be?
