Can you tell the gender of 2 week old quail?

They do now, but in the next week or two, they might start to lose those spots. The one on the right has just a hint of rust that might also develop. Two weeks is just too early to tell for sure.

i would find a way to keep up with which one you suspect of being a roo and in a few weeks see if you were right. After a few times of that you will be able to tell us which is male and female. Good luck and let us know in a couple of weeks how your guess turned out...

You can sometimes tell the boys at two weeks, if they already have rust feathers, but females can't be confirmed for a couple more weeks.
