Can you tell what breed this is and if it's a cockerel or a hen? (Pics included)

I bought this chick at Atwoods and it was in with the female bantams. However, today I heard what sounded like the beginning of a crow. It was like a Err-Errrrrrr sound. I'm not sure what breed it is either as I haven't been able to find similar pics online. It has a lighter brown head and neck and its body is a mix of shiny coppery brown and black. The black often looks like it has a greenish tint and it has long tail feathers. I read somewhere that depending on the breed long tail feathers are usually found on male chickens. This chick just turned 9 weeks old (approx).

All of our chicks are about the same age. We got twelve at the same time. Thanks for your help!!!

Well, if it is a rooster then hopefully that is the only one! LOL Too bad it was in the all female bin at Atwoods but he is absolutely adorable!

I'm guessing bantam old english red rooster, prob. black breasted red. Look on Ideal Poultry's website under bantam OEG's and I'll bet you will see one. They have good pics of chicks, hens, and roos.

Thank you all so much! Anyone have any idea what the black and white streaked one is? I'm thinking Ancona but not sure!

The production red in pic # 4 looks very much like a cockerel, and I have a minor concern about the black and white chick.

Oh boy! I hope they aren't cockerels too! The black and white one was also in an all female bin (go figure). The red one was in a pullet only bin but who knows. The red one is the friendliest chicken in the bunch and loves attention. It also calls all the other chickens to go into the coop at night and won't roost until all of the other ones are in their spots. My neighbor calls that one the "innkeeper".
