how old ducks are? I am looking at purchasing a preloved pair of indian runners but the owner doesn't know how old they are.

Is there a way to tell? Chickens have spurs...ducks have......?

ducks are hard like that you might be able to tell by how many feathers they have or if you want to wait until theyre like 20 weeks or something like that and see if the drakes feathers curl! so if you post pictures when you get them someone might be able to tell you how old they are (about)

Unfortunately, I can't tell age by looking. Some old birds that are very well kept and fed properly look young and some young birds that have not had a good start in life can look older.
Depending upon why you want them, unless they are arthritic and limping, I wouldn't think it should matter. Just my humble opinion.
