Can you turn a tuff shed into a coop for momma and babies to stay in?

I was thinking one with a double door so the bottom could stay closed and the top could be open for air flow. Or a shed but keep the double doors open and build a screen door or something so they have airflow

or what about a carport frame and you enclose it This would only be until the babies can be returned to the yard once old enough.

I would go with the shed if you already have it, but I think you could make either one into a coop. I think the carport would be more work. Just depends on what you want to do really. Our coop is 10 x 12 and my husband told me yesterday he’s building me a 10 x 20 foot one.

I def say the shed is less work and way more secure. We have a shed already but the floors rotting and rats have peed all over it so I just wanna get something new and clean. Dad built a coop that our girls use and then there's a little chicken coop they use. They free range our entire half acer when not closed up to keep babies safe :)

I’d go with the shed then. My problem would be the size. I have too many chickens lol
