Come on down to the Sring 2011 Poultry & Small Animal Tailgate Sale! The weather is breaking and so are the shells of many an egg hatching. Sat.April 23rd from 7am-12pm Berkshire Farm is hosting its annual spring sale.We had to move the date to Sat.due to the Easter holiday. Lots of calls already for vendor space and buyers looking for just about everything. If you havent been to our sale before, you wont be disappointed. This sale is open to anything "Farm " related, from chickens and ducks to garden tools and fencing. We are looking for vendors that have piglets,goats,sheep, chickens,ducks,geese, turkeys, wool,farm related equipment,agg arts & crafts, and such.There is a $10 vendors fee. Entry is free for buyers. There will be a Food Booth with lots of good stuff to eat, and a raffle table.Blue Seal Feeds of Chatham is Sponsoring this event and all proceeds go back to Berkshire Farms Childrens Fund.This Sale is located at Berkshire Farm Center 13640 Rt 22 Canaan NY12029. If you are coming from Interstate I-90 from either the east or west. Take I-90 to exit B3. When you get off the exit, take Rt22 North for 3 miles. The Sale will be on your Left,there will be signs set up. If coming from the North, take Rt22 South from the town of New Lebanon and the sale will be 3miles on your right. Hi Bruce! I do believe you know my husband Dan. He just started farming Berkshire Farm land last summer. We live in Canaan. Can you sign us up as a vendor? Is there anything else I should know about set up times and such?
 
I will hopefully be bringing a few chicks and button quail for sale as well as seeds and goat milk soap from our farm. May bring some fertile chicken eggs too if someone want to hatch some out.

I plan on going I'll be bringing adult Calls in lots of colors and also an assortment call hatching eggs.I've been going to this swap every year and do a good amount of buying and selling. I'll be bringing adult large ducks and bantam hens also.Lets all hope for good weather.
 
We will have a few calls for sale. Other ducks as well and a few geese. Cages and other farm and garden items. Looking for cayuga hens and a buff male goose. hope to see you there.
