hi all!
I have a small pretty flock of black feather footed bantams from a gl wyandotte hen and a black silky roo.
They are 12 weeks old now and i need the run they're in....since i decided who's staying...well my daughter did!

Green sheen on black in the sun...smooth feathered though ,have fluffy heads like silkys and some have five toes from dad. Small combs and wattles..black skin,legs.
1 roo...4 or 5 pullets.
going to post in sale section with pics but needed to get the ontario folk looking since buyers need to be here for pick up.

Tara, your little flock sounds adorable. Too bad it is about 4 hours from my house and I don't have any excuse to go that far. I hope you find good homes for them.

I did find some young chicks about an hour and a half from home, so I am looking forward to the new additions next week. I still have some work to do on the coop though.

Next spring (2011) I hope to obtain more hens/pullets, of the following varieties:

Australorp
Orpington
Plymouth Rock
Ameraucana/Araucana (light blue egg variety?)
Cochin (for broodiness)

And maybe one rooster/cockerel... whichever breed would make good crosses with the above, is friendly, and it would be great if he was beautiful. (Oh yes, I want it all.

Hey if you could update mine: Starting in Spring 2011 I will be breeding blue, black and splash Ameraucanas and Wheaten Marans. Will ship eggs anywhere in Canada and sell some chicks locally.

ETA: Also I am working on tufted rumpless Araucana, and will have some eggs available in late Spring.
