Hey guys I am on Vancouver Island and am looking for some heritage breeds and banties if anyone can help me out or point me int he right direction I would be very grateful..........

Theres a hatchery in Manitoba called Bergs that I was thinking about ordering from but their specialty list does not come out till end of feb. so it depends on what kind of birds they have this year. They change birds every year. Was also going to order silver duckwings from Rochester. Where do you live chickchick, I'm in Ardrossan.

I just found the Performance Poultry website! They are from Ontario. They have the breeds I'm looking for! Have any of you ever purchased from them??
 
I am on a few chicken sites and I read on there from a few people that performance poultry had lot of maybe inbred cause the birds had lot of deformed feet and people were not happy. That is what I read but you never can believe everyone. Just make sure you are sure of what you want and then go for it. I might try from U.S. next year if all goes well. Good luck.

I have small flocks of SL & GL wyandottes, standard cochins (all colours), and buff black tailed japanese. Always looking for an egg swap for any purebred birds (chicken or whatever!).
