This thread inspired me to create a Canadian Heritage Chicken Directory website this morning. I have come across others, but they seem to be rarely updated and often charge a registration fee.

I love this thread and I hope it keeps growing, but I thought a free website where you could contact the seller directly would be useful. It will probably take a couple weeks to get indexed by the major search engines so you'll have click on the link or type the url until then.

I think organizing contacts under chicken breed would be most useful? Any thoughts? Comments?

And, happy new year!

Thank you, organized by breed would be most helpful. Just a thought...When the list gets bigger, it would also be nice to be able to search by province so that you know what breeds are available relatively close by.

Hi folks, I'm in Nova Scotia, looking for Lavender Ameracauna's. Anyone know of a local breeder? Thanks
