Checking in from the Westwold, BC, area (between Kamloops and Vernon). Been a member here for several years, doing a farm-gate egg business with a flock of ISA Browns, and have a couple of white Guinea hens and a frizzle. I am currently selling off my flock of 2-year-old ISA hens so I can redo my chicken coops and get into some heritage breeds as well. I've got chicks ordered for spring, including Russian Orloff, Partridge Chantecler, Silver-Grey Dorking, and some Silkies, Frizzles, Cochins, and standard Crested Polish, just to round things out, ha ha. Will also be getting an incubator this month so I can try buying some fertilized eggs and hatching them. Never a dull moment around here ...
......well I guess its a little late because you have been around here already ...I guess its just a Hello !
I am going to be getting an incubator soon also ....ooooh I am in trouble !.....I am origionally from Penticton ...have family up in Bridlepath and in Ooyooso...how ever you spell it...

Actually, not a huge amount... we haven't gotten anything more than 1-2cm since before Christmas. We've also had a mild spell with temps bouncing upto just below 0C... not like the last two winters where the temps were often -20 to -30C.
We lived in a rented house last year, and the landlord said the snow last year was the most he's seen in 50 years of living in Sudbury.
I was in Sudbury for school at the time, and it certainly was a LOT of snow!
Welcome aboard!
