I am soooo happy. I have a small arvary that my DH built a few years ago... we had a pair of canaries that gave us quite a few males (which I gave away except one). Well a year ago "mom" dies so I have had two lonely males... I got a young female last week and she went straight to making a nest! The boys are going crazy trying to woo her. (It is so funny).

Anyway... I went to give them fresh veggies this morning and there was a tiny egg! She did it! of course it was small and NOT in the nest but it isn't time for that yet. (end of Feb probably) The shell was a bit thin so I added egg shell to her treat plate. The yolk was bright and everything looked so healthy. Happy Happy Joy Joy
