New to BYC and relatively new to raising chickens. After moving to the country in 2007, Bob and I thought that as long as the house came with a chicken coop, we should use it. So in March, 2008, we filled the coop with Bard Rocks. 10 weeks ago I brought home 19 chicks that the 2nd graders hatched as part of their science curriculum. The 3 Silver Polish are easy to determine, but the rest I'm unsure of. I think I have 2 Wyandottes, too. I fear I am going to wind up with way too many roosters, too! I am hoping to find a lot of good advice and suggestions on BYC. I'm going to need it!
