Anyone else get the wonderful news from Murray McMurray that your order has been put on the back burner because of bird flu? I had to scramble to find another source for chicks. 1 phone call and the debit card and all is well.

Mine shipped yesterday with no call, so I'm hoping all my order is there. I said yes to substitute breeds though, so that's a possibility too

I lost a few breeds from my June order, and replaced one with a Delaware which was my next choice. They said they would ship 13 without a shipping fee b/c of the whole ordeal.

I have another order w a local hatchery plus hatching eggs arriving 3 weeks before my chicks, so I should have a couple of full brooders regardless. The Marans and White Orps will have to wait til next year.

I feel terrible for them.
