Candeling dark eggs

I have a huge dark Isa brown egg. I dont have a rooster, so we have eggs to eat only. How do i candle a dark egg to see how many yolks exsist in it?
Hope someone could be able to help me. I looked about candleing, and could not find anything about how to candle a brown egg.

its exactly the same with a dark egg as with a light one - the difference is you really have a hard time seeing inside a dark egg.

Try using an LED flashlight or other very bright light source & do it while sitting in a totally dark room.

I'm afraid thats the best your going to get.
