Candeling Question

I'm wondering how often I can candle. My last hatch didn't go so well a lot of early quitters but at different stages. I only candled at 10 days and got rid of the clears and then again when it was time to go into lockdow. I was using an LG but have now switched to a Hovabator. I would like to candle them every day though so if one does quit early I can pinpoint the day more and figure out what is going on. But I'm worried if I will hurt the egg by doing this. I usually candle in my son's room and the incubator is in the kitchen so I put them in a bowl on a towel carry them to his room candle and put them back. Does it hurt to take the egg's out every day to do that ?

Probably not a good Idea. I have seen no prof that it would actually hurt the eggs but as a rule it is frowned on.

Knowing what day they quit really does you no good. As an incubator you need to know if they quit before day 18 or after, before absorbing the yoke or after an if the ones that hatch did so on the right day.

Generally
Before day 18 = egg/genetic/bacteria/drastic temp issues
After 18 = humidity issues

Before absorbing the yoke = humidity to high
After absorbing the yoke = humidity to low

Hatch before day 21 = temp to high
Hatch after day 21 = temp to low

I kind of thought it might not be good for them but I see these post's on here of candeling and they are posting everyday with pic's that's why I thought maybe that is what I should be doing?

I candle if I am short on room or worried about fertility. I would candle on day 7(or 10) an day 18.
But mostly I do not candle at all. I smell the incubator daily an throw out any that have a smell.

If I do have a bad hatch I open them an guess using the points I posted above.
