Has anyone eve done this successfully with a flashlight? I guess I don't know what I am looking for?

i have in the past used the bottom half of a lava lamp (with a piece of cardboard over the top with a small hole cut in to rest the egg on. worked for me. never tried with a flashlight but i guess you need one with a strong beam?

I do it with a LED flashlight. Mostly because its the first thing I found around the house to do the trick and it doesn't create a much heat at all.

We used an LED last night and found 3 of 4 eggs to be fertile.
