Has anyone had any luck candling chukar eggs? If so, what do you use to do it? Im striking out here.....these are day 4 and my curiosity got the better of me and I just had to look. Thoughts?

I've not done chukar eggs myself, but I've been tempted. I'd like to see how this goes for you.
How many days for incubation? It may still be too early to see anything wait until day 7 or 10.

Chukar are like pheasant 24 days if I remember right. Right now I only have the two eggs, still working on accommodations for my 1 male, 1 female and 1 unknown chukar that are left over from training. Ill keep posting on it, hopefully someone who knows more about us on candling them comes along.

For every other egg, you candle from the fat end down at 7 days incubation or more.
By then you should be able to see veins and possibly a red dot in the middle which is the embryo with a little pulsing heartbeat.
I incubate eggs all the time, just not chukar eggs. ;)
@Kiki can you show him a picture of your quail embryo pictures?
