yea that happen to me once when i very first started hatching and i use my own eggs for the first time long story short thought i had a blood ring and crack open a 10 day chick embryo

thats why now the ones that look iffy i just candle them and update on them till day 14 if nothing has changed since then ..there tossed

yup candling is sure a great thing but it can be deceiving thats for sure let us know what turns out and no more cheating hehehehe like we dont all do it

Wait till day 11-14 and re-candle..I know your sister wanted to see>>?? day 3-4 not much to see on them..11-14 is the fun stage..

If we buy shipped eggs we always candle them before setting just to see what the air cells look like and we mark any damaged ones just to see what happens during incubation and then we set them after they adjust to room temp..then we candle once after 7 days..and then right before they go into the hatcher...

Hi Mr. Impatience

Now I'll have to bring mine in (set the same day as yours) to see how they look.
Was the blood ring in the really grungy egg or the only slightly grungy egg?
I hope they keep growing for you !

Hey, sorry to threadjack.
Lisa, one of my 10 day old cochinXsilkies is crowing, and very proud of himself

Good luck birdboy, Lisa's eggs will probably hatch early for you too. They are fast developers

, I think my 11 week old heard him crowing and decided it was time for him to start.
