Candled My eggs on day 12

all my eggs are brown and very porous so it is hard to see anything, but about 3 of the eggs had dark spots in them 2 were totally clear and 1 was totally dark. I mean totally dark with a light spot on the pointy end of the egg. I have a feeling that I will only be hatching one chick, very disapointing since they came all the way from CA. They are Silver Laced Cochins, my poor babies, but I guess I shouldn't count my eggs before they hatch.

Hey Jenn,

I have found that mine did not start to develop really fast until after day 12. In fact, 5 of the 6 eggs that I just hatched I declared dead on day 8 just to find out on day 15 that they were not and in fact had little chicks in them. I wouldn’t give up hope just yet. Good luck!

Thanks Jen!! This is my first hatch ever and I guess I am kinda nervous. But I wont give up hope just yet, its good to know that yours still developed.
