I watched many videos on quitters and most show a red line, mine doesn't show a red line but when I candle it the dark spot now follows the direction I turn the egg like an unfertilized egg. Am I correct to think the chick has stopped developing and died? I have left it alone for a few days to see if I was wrong but same result when I candled it tonight and it's 2 days before lock down should I remove it or leave it. I don't want my very first hatch to be a stinky clean up if it explodes. I took a video but I don't know how to show it on here.

A dark red/black mass that floats around in a very liquidy late term egg is often a quitter, the dead tissue clumps up and the liquid separates, sorry!
