candled some eggs!!

Well one incubator is day 5 and the other is day 3 i didnt really mess with the day 3 one since i am new to this but i couldnt help my self candling some of the day 5 ones i had 9 eggs from Rosie my little blk silkie so far it seems all her eggs are doing good i seen veins and stuff the ones i had shipped to me some look good! by the way when a black and blue silkie mate what colors should they be having?

Good luck & hope you have a great hatch. To answer you question about genetics: Black x Blue = 50% Black & 50% Blue

I think a Blue and Black together should produce 50%Blue, 50% Black. I was researching yesterday for the same thing. Maybe someone with more experience will chime in.
