They lay on a 26 to 28 hour cycle depending on breed so it gets a little later each day till its too late in the day to lay and thats usually when they skip their day. And pullets are more inconsistent with the cycle timing if theyre new layers too. I also mainly get afternoon eggs as well haha10 so far but I always get more later, I wonder if the reason why some of the hens don't lay in the morning is because they're pullets?
