I have looked at lots of pictures, but I've just gotten myself confused. So I'm taking bets - are these two eggs alive or rotten?

A chicken egg candled at 14 days with a brown shell. At 14 days a dark mass floats to the top as you turn it. Didn't particularly see any veins. At 19 days, I'm not sure it is smelling very good. The egg is entirely opaque.

A duck egg candled at 14 days showed veining and movement and what looks like a beak! At 19 days, it is a solid mass at one end with a large air cell at the other. The edges of the dark mass seems fuzzy.

So will I be a momma soon? If so, what will my darling look like?

Thanks,

Thanks so much! I feel better just knowing. I'll take that chicken egg out soon.
