I am only on day 4 of my first time incubation with eggs hand carried back from Tenn. to Ill. Since I had to open the bator to put water in, I decided to candle. All look about what I expected except one egg... the yolk seems to be unformed and spread out... what does that mean? Could it have been shaken up? Left it in, but am just curious.

Sounds like the yolk may be ruptured somehow, or it is an older egg than the rest and got in accidently

I'd personally remove it.

I would not depend on what i saw on day 4. Wait till day 7 or 8 and then look again. On day 4, nothing is formed well enough so you can depend on what you are seeing.
